This year, the comic strip was celebrated with a special edition of the Comic Strip Festival. In this edition the festival took it visitors you along a 'Strip Experience' that will take you on a trail with illustrated worlds, landscapes and giant balloons. 

One of the big exhibitions was "Journey into the Universe of Webtoons", which takes you to the world of Korean webtoons, and describes the current situation of this market and of the platforms that publish webtoons as well. Visitors were also able to discover some excellent comic books by Korean authors, a giant Dooly balloon and could try to make their own kat. 

Despite the corona pandemic, this special edition received a whopping 10,000 visitors! This proves that it is still possible to create a fun and safe event for the whole family during these times.
