(Lyrics)

<Introduction>

Arari arari

<1st Refrain>

Arirang arirang arariyo let me go over the Arirang hills

Arirang arirang arariyo let me go over the Arirang hills

1. Will it snow, rain or pour?

Dark clouds gather over the Mansu-san Mountain

2. Hey, rower of Auraji, bring me cross the river

Ginger flowers of Ssari Valley are falling down

3. The fallen flowers will be embraced by fallen leaves

Where is my lover wandering away from me?

< 2nd Refrain >

That’s right, that’s the way things are.

Why not live with me happily forever?

4. Painful is this life, heartless are you

You leave me after making me love you.

5. The moon light is bright in the wind

My heart longs for you.

<2nd Refrain>

6. I must stop missing my lover who wanders away from me.

I would rather kill myself to forget my burning love.
