The classical ballet "Swan Lake" is the love story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, who lives as a swan by day and turns into a human by night under the curse of the evil sorceror Rothbart.
Yuri Grigorovich, former director of the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow, presents through the Korean National Ballet his own version of this work featuring a happy ending. In contrast to other versions with tragic endings such as Odette's failure to become human with Siegfried's demise or the deaths of both, Grigorovich's rendition has the couple lifting the curse through the power of love.
