Pianist Dong Min Lim, who in 2005 became the first Korean to win a prize at the International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland, released last month his first album in eight years, "Chopin & Schumann." To promote his new album, he will go on a nationwide tour to play pieces such as Schumann's "Kinderszenen Op.15" and Chopin's "Scherzos." His performances will start on Oct. 28 at Seoul's Lotte Concert Hall, to be followed by those in Gwangju (Nov. 15), Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Province (Nov. 17), Daegu (Nov. 21) and Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do Province (Dec. 14).
