The Little Angels is a traditional Korean arts troupe comprising elementary and middle school students.
Formed on May 5, 1962, on the occasion of Children's Day, the group's first show for a foreign leader was in front of U.S. President Eisenhower in 1965. The troupe has since performed for about 50 heads of state in serving as a civilian peace envoy. It has toured about 60 countries and received the Presidential Award four times.
The upcoming performance will feature buchaechum (fan dance), ganggangsullae (circle dance of women under the moonlight), gayageum (plucked zither), bukchum (drum dance), talchum (mask dance) and more.
