First organized on March 30, 2001 by four techno clubs under the slogan ‘Clubbers & Harmony,' Club Day has now grown into a 13-club event that best represents Korea's club culture. The event was launched to invigorate the club scene and preserve the unique ambience of Hongik University area where various lifestyles and art forms coexist. Today, about 10,000 people enjoy the club atmosphere in this area every year. For the price of 20,000 won, Club Day offers free access to 22 various clubs. This event has promoted the Korean club scene and indie culture to both local and foreign visitors.
