The Seoul Metropolitan Youth Orchestra will open the New Year on January 9th at the Sejong Center with an energetic and lively concert of orchestral music, a 200+ member chorus, top-class soloists, and the magnificent sounds of the organ.
This concert, which features 70 minutes of Beethoven's symphony ‘Choral', will be the final stage of the Seoul Metropolitan Youth Orchestra's 3-year long series entitled ‘ Beethoven Stories'. The Beethoven symphony ‘Choral', which has been recognized as one of the most outstanding masterpieces among western classical music, is registered as a UNESCO Memory of the World.
