This year commemorates the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the National Center for Korean Namdo Performing Arts. The Folk Music Troupe is to feature various genres of Korean tradition music. There will be Pusal, a shaman music, pansori (traditional narrative song) of the folk tale Sugung-ga, Sinawi another shaman music that starts slowly but speeds up to the hilt at the climax, gayageum byeongchang (song with gayageum, the 12-string zither), Gyeonggi minyo (folksong of Gyeonggi Province) and Seodo minyo (folk song from Northwest region of Korea).
