Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour by Cirque du Soleil
The King of Pop Michael Jackson is back with Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour performed by Cirque du Soleil, which will visit Seoul for only 5 days this July.
The show has been performed for more than 2 million people in 100 cities. It is written and directed by Jamie King, the leading concert director in pop music today, who has danced on the Dangerous World Tour with Michael Jackson.
Many dancers and staffers who worked on Jackson’s last world tour, This is It World Tour, have also joined this show. This will be the fourth visit by Cirque du Soleil to Korea, following Quidam in 2007, Alegria in 2008, and Varekai in 2011.
To comfort Michael Jackson's worldwide fans, Cirque du Soleil and Jackson's estate decided to continue his world tour. Cirque du Soleil, one of the world’s leading art circus theaters, is the only groupcollaborating with Michael Jackson’s estate for Michael Jackson-themed shows.
The 110-minute show will feature 252 costumes and employ 38 trailers needed to carry sets.
