Seoul Ballet Theatre's 'Four Seasons'

Seoul Ballet Theatre returns with revamped original modern ballet, the ‘Four Seasons’ by James Jeon, which first premiered nine years ago. The four segments namely; Line of Life, After the Rain, Vivaldi and Metempsychosis are each 8~20 minutes long and will be performed at 8 pm, June 20, CJ Towol Theater of the Seoul Arts Center as a part of the 2013 3rd Ballet Festival Korea (June 1 ~ July 13). This year’s performance has added bridging pieces to seamlessly connect each part with one another with new sets and costumes. Music from Johann Sebastian Bach, Alessandro Marcello, Vivaldi, and George Frederic Handel accompany the choreography. Program Summary : Spring - the mystery and pain of birth, Summer - refreshing summer rain showers, Fall - fleeting encounters, and Winter - preparing for new life.
