Monte Cristo the musical, based on the "The Count of Monte Cristo" by French author Alexandre Dumas, has returned to the stage for the first time in three years. The story centers around a man who, after being wrongfully imprisoned sets about getting revenge on those responsible for his misfortune. It is a story concerned with themes of hope, justice, love and forgiveness.
