Pansori, the intangible
cultural property of Korea, as well as the UNESCO cultural heritage,
combines stories into a song with full sounds that human can express.
Its strength is presented in dramatic forms of both comedy and
tragedy in a distinct way.
National Theater of Korea offers 'The Complete Performance of Pansori' so that the audience can appreciate its value to the fullest. At extreme cases, the entire performance of five stories used to take 8~9 hours at most, showing that only the best Pansori singers of all times were able to perform.
