As the mercury drops below zero, ski resorts are running snowmakers around the clock to prepare for opening day. Most ski resorts in Gangwon-do province will welcome skiers and snowboarders mid to late November while resorts located in the central & southern regions will open to winter revelers in early December.
Daemyung Vivaldi Park will provide free shuttle bus service from metropolitan areas throughout the season, and offer the ‘New Weekday Lift’ option which combines the morning and afternoon tickets into one allowing access from 10:30 to 17:00 at a 40% discount.
This winter is expected to be great for skiing as several heavy snows are expected from November to February with average temperatures (-4
o~10
o) and precipitation (70~221㎜).
