The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs held the 2026 Veterans Diplomacy Briefing on Thursday morning, February 12, in Seoul, announcing plans to further expand veterans cooperation with countries that participated in the United Nations forces during the Korean War. The briefing took place at the Grand Hyatt Seoul and was attended by approximately 60 participants, including Minister Kwon Oh-eul, ambassadors and defense attachés from 21 UN participating countries stationed in Korea—such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada—as well as the Chief of Staff of the United Nations Command.
