Korea Environmental Technology & Industry Institute (KEITI) announced that the portal site of National Environmental Technology Information Center (KONETIC) (www.konetic.or.kr) has obtained ‘Content Service Quality Certification’ by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. The Content Service Quality Certification is aimed at granting quality certification to excellent websites that provides reliable content and services to users.

The Certification is given after comprehensive evaluation on service technology, user convenience and customer management by User Evaluation Group and Expert Evaluation Group, so the Quality Certification is highly reliable. KONETIC is the only website in the environmental field which received the certification so that users can utilize its online content service with confidence. 

KONETIC, the largest website in the environmental field, has drawn 100 million visitors since its launch in 1999. Environmental experts at home and abroad have provided relevant information at the website.

KONETIC has about 58,000 data in 15 environmental fields such as environmental technology and environmental industry. In particular, the website offers useful hands-on work materials to working-level staff and researchers such as case information, status analysis and work manual on design, construction and operation of environmental facilities.

KEITI noted that it will strive to create an ecosystem of environmental knowledge where the government, the public and experts can communicate with each other through KONETIC.
