Administrator’s On-site Visit to Jamboree and Construction Sites in
the heavy rain

- Safety inspection of South-North Highway and 2023 Jamboree Site

Kim Kyung-ahn, Administrator of Saemangeum Development
and Investment Agency (SDIA), visited the construction site of
South-North Highway and 2023 Saemangeum Jamboree Site to
conduct a close inspection in the torrent rains on the 15th.

Administrator Kim presided over the safety meeting and
discussed about emergency measures during heavy rains,
evacuation of site workers and construction machinery.


Then, he visited the South-North Highway and intensively
inspected the bridges and pavement damages in the torrent
rains.


He also visited the 2023 Saemaneum Jamboree site in which
the Jamboree event will be held in August and inspected the
facilities, especially drainage facility in the case of heavy rains
during the event.


“As heavy rain is expected more days, we should take a close
inspection of the Saemangeum Project sites to prevent
accidents.” Administrator Kim said. “Let us do our best to
make safe construction sites without any accidents.”
