Saemangeum Sports Complex Project is being planned

and Investment Agency (SDIA, Administrator Kim Kyung-ahn)

visited Gunsan Country Club on June 5.

SDIA is going to establish five Special Complexes – MICE

Industry, Food Hub, Film Industry, Horse Industry, Sports

Complex, in Saemangeum with vast area and natural tourism

resources. In particular, SDIA plans to establish various golf

courses and yacht facility in Saemangeum.

Gunsan Country Club is the largest golf course with a total of

81 holes on 394,000㎡. KPGA, KLPGA and various amateur

games have been played there since its opening in 2005.

The officials of Gunsan Country Club informed SDIA officials of

the general situation of golfers in the area, then talked how to

develop sports and leisure industry in Saemangeum.
