A Leap into the Digital ID Era: The Mobile Resident Registration Card Is Now Available Nationwide

- The Mobile Resident Registration Card has the same legal validity as the physical Resident Registration Card
and is accepted by government services, banks and other institutions.

-Starting March 28, citizens can obtain their digital ID through GOV.KR (‘정부24’) and at local government offices
outside their place of registration.
