- 12th ACFJ to be held from July 10 to 12
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF; Minister Kang Do-hyung) and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Oh Young-hoon) announced that they would be holding the 2025 Asia Cruise Forum Jeju (ACFJ) on Jeju Island for three days from Thursday, July 10 to Saturday, July 12.
As a leading cruise industry forum held annually since 2013, ACFJ has contributed to the development of the Asian cruise industry by sharing the latest industry trends and discussing cooperation plans with major Asian cruise industry officials.
* Royal Caribbean Cruises, MSC Cruises, MOL Cruises, Adora Cruises, etc., are scheduled to attend this year.
This year, under the theme “Vision for Asian Cruises 2035–Sailing for Cruise Share from 9% to 20% of the Global Market,” the event will discuss growth plans for the Asian cruise industry through three session subjects: △Vision and Strategy for the Asian Cruise Market, △Future of Asian Cruise Destinations, and △Sustainable Growth of the Asian Cruise Market.
In addition, more than 80 business meetings will be held between major Asian shipping companies, travel agencies, and port officials, with the 20th Cruise Development Council meeting to be held to discuss ways of revitalizing Korean cruise home ports. Detailed information regarding the event can be found at the ACFJ website (www.asiacruiseforum.com).
"It is now time for the Asian cruise industry to move forward toward a common goal through cooperation, not competition. I expect the productive and enterprising discussions that will emerge from this forum to become an important milestone for the sustainable growth of the Asian cruise industry," Minister Kang Do-hyung said.
