President Yoon Suk Yeol from Nov. 20-26 visited the U.K. and France.
President Yoon made a state visit to the U.K. at the invitation of British King Charles III, who made the president his first state guest after the monarch's coronation in May.
President Yoon started his schedule in London by attending an official welcoming ceremony and a state banquet hosted by the king. Summit talks with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak come next, followed by a speech to the U.K. Parliament and signing of an accord on bilateral cooperation measures.
Afterwards, President Yoon visited Paris from Nov. 23-24 to make a final pitch for Busan's bid to host the 2030 World Expo. Ahead of the Nov. 28 announcement of the event's host city by the Paris-based International Bureau of Expositions (BIE), he conveyed Korea's strong intent to host the expo and preparation status.

KCC in UK's promo video publicizes President Yoon's state visit
A promotional video screened in London is marking President Yoon Suk Yeol's state visit to the U.K. and the 140th anniversary of bilateral ties.
