In July 2012, Vince and I took a trip to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), the "line" that separates North and South Korea. There, we were able to go inside the 2nd and 3rd tunnels. The 2nd tunnel is in Gyeonggido and the 3rd tunnel is in Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do. We also went to the Dorasan Station, Unification Observatory and Peace Observatory.

At the Peace observatory we met a North Korean defector and our tour group had a question and answer with him. That experience was one of my most unforgettable experiences in Korea. It was both an emotional and an eye opening kind of trip. As someone who would always choose peace over war, I am looking forward to the success of the #2018_Inter_Korean_Summit. I really hope that everyone who has been working hard to materialize this will reap the fruit of their labor.

May the #DMZ will no longer be a barrier but a gateway for the people from the both sides of the Korean Peninsula.
