Korea's international city of Busan is bidding to host the 2030 World Expo from May 1 to Oct. 31, 2030.
Under the theme "Transforming Our World, Navigating Toward a Better Future," the event will offer an opportunity for the world to discuss the future of humanity and for countries to share prospects for and insights on sustainable living with nature, technology for humanity, and places for caring and sharing.
The International Bureau of Expositions (BIE) on Nov. 28 in Paris will name the host city of the event.
