A panel of industry professionals discuss ways to vitalize collaboration between Korean and Polish cosmetics companies at the K-Beauty in Poland trade fair on June 10 in Warsaw.

The popularity of Korean cosmetics has spread to Poland.

The export of Korean cosmetics to Poland rose by 63 percent last year, compared to 2014 figures, according to industry trade bodies. They claimed that this is because Korean brands offer high-quality products that are on par with other brands, while still being affordable at relatively competitive prices.

Korean beauty trends were recently spotlighted in the K-Beauty in Poland trade fair on June 10 in Warsaw. Twenty Korean cosmetics firms that specialize in skincare lines, including facial creams and masks, were represented at the event. Attendees at the European end included some 200 industry professionals, buyers and beauty powerbloggers from Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania.

Meanwhile, Polish distributor Orchard, which has been the exclusive distributor for the Korean It's Skin brand, will soon be adding Samsung International's line of mask packs to its online shelves.
