The Koreatown captured in the video seems just like a slice of Seoul. In the video, people enjoy tiny pieces of cake that come in a wide choice of shapes and sizes, enjoy massages at a luxury beauty salon and sing and dance at a noraebang. A man featured in the video says that, "It's not just Koreans living in Koreatown. There's a huge Latino population. There's a huge young professional population that chooses to live here because of its central location."

Beyond that, the NYT recommends tourists visit the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles and the Korea Center Los Angeles. It shows some traditional performances and explains that visitors can enjoy a wide range of cultural programs offered at the cultural centers.

Kim Young-san, head of the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles said that it provides visitors with a first-hand experience of Korean arts & traditions and that it is a chance to meet people from a variety of backgrounds.

One man in the video says, "Koreatown is best traveled without knowing what you are doing or where you are going. Just walk down the street, stumble into a restaurant, try some new food, talk to people and embrace the culture."
