The festival received celebratory messages from actor Kang Ha-neul, star of "Twenty" (2015), from actor/ singer Lee Seung-gi, who appeared in "Love Forecast" (2014), and from Kim Hak-sun, director of "Northern Limit Line" (2015).

Korean Ambassador Suh Chung-ha emphasized that Korean movies played a decisive role in letting the world know about Korea, before Korean pop music or Korean soap operas. Director Eric Khoo said that there are close ties between him and Korea through the Busan International Film Festival, and that he is looking forward to seeing ever-better Korean movies.

The official title of the Korean Film Festival in Singapore 2015 was "Mr. Korean Film Festival," with the “Mr.” standing for "Most Recent." Ten Korean movies were screened this year, twice as many as in previous years.

"Northern Limit Line" opened the festival, and afterward other movies were screened: "Assassination" (2015), "Ode to my Father" (2014), "Twenty," "The Chronicles of Evil" (2015), "The Divine Move" (2014), "Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island" (2014), "A Hard Day" (2013), "Love Forecast" and "The Target" (2014).

The movies were really popular, with more than 80 percent of the tickets being sold. In particular, tickets for "Assassination," a huge box office hit in 2015, were almost entirely sold-out. There were no empty seats in the theater for "Love Forecast" starring actor/ singer Lee Seung-gi. "Twenty," with Kang Ha-neul, also attracted a lot of Singaporean fans.
