The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism launches the K-Ribbon Selection exhibit on Dec. 14 at the PMQ in Hong Kong, a hub for the creative industries. The exhibit runs until Dec. 28.

"The products displayed at the exhibit showed off the uniqueness of Korean culture. The elaborate details on the handicraft works were particularly impressive," said Alice Te, a resident of Hong Kong who attended the opening ceremony for the K-Ribbon Selection exhibit on Dec. 14.

The exhibit, currently underway at the PMQ in Hong Kong, will be showcasing a variety of Korea's premium products until Dec. 28.

The exhibit features some 63 products selected from the 2016 K-Ribbon Selection, a collection that includes Hanbok clothing items, Hansik dishes, food products, and handicrafts.

Visitors will be able to take a look at four types of Hanbok, including men's formal wear by Guiroe (기로에) and women's garments by Tchai Kim (차이킴). Also featured are some 40 handicraft works such as tableware and lacquered otchil wooden boxes, as well as 18 different types of food products, including ginseng concentrate and traditional Gamhongno (감홍로) liquor. Cartoonist Park Si Baek's graphic novel, "Annals of the Joseon Dynasty," based on the eponymous historical document is also on display.
