Kim MinjiThe K-pop super group Bangtan Boys (BTS) has set two more K-pop milestones at this year's Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
BTS on May 1 became the first Korean act to win two honors at the awards and the title of Top Duo/Group, beating out competitors such as Imagine Dragons and Maroon 5 in the latter category. The group also won Top Social Artist for the third straight year.
"This prize was possible because we shared little things together," said BTS leader RM in the group's acceptance speech. "We are still the same boys from six years ago. Let's keep our dreams and go ahead together."
Considered one of the top three music awards in the U.S., the Billboard event also had BTS perform its latest song "Boy With Luv" with American singer Halsey.
