The K-pop super group Bangtan Boys, aka BTS, on Jan. 26 (local time) performed at the 62nd Grammy Awards of the U.S.

At the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the boy band made its second visit to the Grammys, this time to perform, after presenting an award there in February last year.

The group joined rapper Lil Nas X in the latter's rendition of "Old Time Road," and was joined by country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and other artists for a short but strong performance.

Time magazine said, "BTS' performance made history: it was the first time a Korean group performed at the American awards show," adding, "Their appearance was short but sweet."

BTS through social media expressed its excitement over performing at the awards, with member V saying in a video clip, "Every musician dreams (of performing) at the Grammys. We are thankful and happy to achieve that dream."

In an interview with Billboard magazine on the red carpet before the event, group leader RM said, "Maybe next year, if we'll be nominated here at the Grammys, then it will be the greatest goal."
