The four-member girl group BLACKPINK has set a YouTube record as the music video for its new song "How You Like That" has become the fastest to rack up 100 million views on the video sharing platform.

The song is the first released by the group in one year and two months, and will be included in Blackpink's first studio album slated for release in September.

The group's management agency YG Entertainment on June 29 announced that the music video topped 100 million views at 2:23 a.m. the day before.

The video broke the record 32 hours after its release at 6 p.m. on June 26.

K-pop boy band BTS held the previous mark of 37 hours and 37 minutes with the music video for "Boy with Luv."

"How You Like That" is a hip-hop song that conveys BLACKPINK's individuality and charisma.

Upon its release, the song hit No. 1 on iTunes' Top Song charts in 60 countries and major domestic charts, making BLACKPINK the first K-pop girl group to accomplish the feat.

The song also topped the main charts of Japan and China.
