The 26th Dream Concert Connect:D will be held this weekend for K-pop fans around the world.
This year's event will be held online due to COVID-19.
The concert will run from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Korean standard time on each of the two days on YouTube channel of The K-POP (youtube.com/c/TheKPOP). The viewing fee is KRW 4,990.
Slated to appear in this concert include the K-pop groups Red Velvet, Mamamoo, Lee Mi-joo from the K-pop group Lovelyz and Golden Child.
The Dream Concert is a side event of the 2020 K-Culture Festival, a global extravaganza for Hallyu fans.
Other side events of the festival include #Style Vogue, which delves into Hallyu celebrity fashion, and #Live Trip, which introduces Korean tourist attractions via K-pop genre performances.
The additional events except the concert are free online.
The side events will be held online for 48 hours from July 25 at midnight to the same time the next day. The festival itself will take place from September to October in seven cities nationwide and online.
Hallyu concerts featuring Hallyu content from specific regions will be held in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do Province; Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do Province; Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province; and Gangneung, Gangwon-do Province. Other programs will feature events on sectors like Korean cosmetics, agricultural goods and fashion.
