The super boy band BTS has set yet another record in K-pop.

"Dynamite," the group's first English-language song, on Aug. 21 topped on its day of release the Global Top 50 chart of Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.

The song is the first by a Korean act to hit No. 1 on the chart, which ranks daily the world's most streamed tunes. In April last year, the BTS hit "Boy with Luv" ranked third on the chart.

"Dynamite" was streamed 7,778,950 times worldwide on its day of release, making it the top song on Spotify this year in the number of streams on its day of release.
