The K-pop sensation BTS has won two honors at the American Music Awards, one of the top three awards in the U.S. music industry.
The group on Nov. 22 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles won for Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock and Favorite Social Artist.
BTS won Favorite Duo or Group - Pop/Rock for the second straight year as the only non-English-speaking winner of the prize.
The group also won Favorite Social Artist for the third consecutive year, an honor reflecting an act's popularity and influence on social media.
In their acceptance speech, the group's members said, "We want to be a group that can console the world through music during these hard times."
BTS also presented at the event the first televised performance of its newest song "Life Goes On," which was released on Nov. 20.
