"Minari" has received six nominations for this year's British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards.
The academy on March 9 gave out nominations to 50 movies ahead of its awards ceremony scheduled for April 11.
"Minari" is nominated for Best Director, Best Film Not in the English Language, Best Casting and Best Original Score. Youn Yuh-jung is up for Best Supporting Actress and Alan Kim for Best Supporting Actor.
Chinese-born director Chloe Zhao's "Nomadland" and "Rock" each received seven nominations, and "The Father," "Mank" and "Promising Young Woman" were each nominated in six categories with "Minari."
The BAFTAs are considered a preview of the U.S. Academy Awards.
At last year's awards ceremony, director Bong Joon-ho's "Parasite" won the BAFTAs for Best Film Not in the English Language and Best Original Score. It was also nominated for Best Film and Best Director.
