BTS' latest song "Butter" on June 1 topped the Hot 100 singles chart of Billboard of the U.S.

The chart's rankings of the top songs in America are based on streaming service statistics, sales and radio play.

"Butter" is the third BTS song to top the chart after "Dynamite" and "Life Goes On."

The tune is also the fourth No. 1 song on the chart to feature or include BTS. Last year, the group took part in a remix of "Savage Love" by New Zealand producer Jawsh 685 and American singer Jason Derulo.

Shortly after Billboard announced its latest list, BTS tweeted a photo of its members with the caption "Aaaahh! Thank you, Army!"

As the second English-language song by the group, "Butter" was globally released on May 21 at 1 p.m. Korean Standard Time.
