The megahit "Butter" by the K-pop sensation BTS has reclaimed the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart following the release of the song's remix with American rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
Billboard on Sept. 7 said "Butter" regained the top spot this week after finishing No. 7 last week.
The hit took five weeks to regain supremacy on the Billboard chart after hitting No. 1 in the first week of August.
By spending its 10th week at No. 1, "Butter" became just the 40th song to top the Hot 100 for 10 weeks in Billboard history.
Debuting on May 21, "Butter" topped the chart from June to August except for one week in which the group's other hit, "Permission to Dance," grabbed No. 1.
Billboard added that the "Butter" remix saw 10.7 million streams and 143,000 downloads, up 110% and 108%, respectively, from those seen in the song's first week of release (Aug. 27-Sept. 2).
BTS on its official Twitter account thanked its fans, saying "#BTS_Butter returns to #1 with amazing @theestallion! We're always grateful for your and support, #BTSARMY."
