K-pop sensation BTS and British rock band Coldplay on Sept. 30 dropped the official music video of their collaborative song "My Universe."

The video was uploaded that day at 1 p.m. Korean Standard Time (KST) on Coldplay's official YouTube channel.

Set in outer space, the clip directed by Dave Myers features a massive production scale.

The video delivers a message of hope by featuring three bands playing at a time when music is forbidden across the universe. 

"My Universe" reached 18.41 million views as of Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. KST.

Earlier on Sept. 24, the two groups released the song's lyric video, or an audiovisual trailer with just the lyrics, on Coldplay's channel.  

The song will be on Coldplay's ninth studio album "Music of the Spheres" set for release on Oct. 15.
