The reality dating program "Single's Inferno" is the first Korean entertainment program to reach the global Netflix top 10.
The show on Jan. 2 was the tenth most-watched Netflix program worldwide according to FlixPatrol, a site that ranks over-the-top streaming content, on Jan. 3.
By country, "Single's Inferno" was first in Singapore and Vietnam, second in Hong Kong and Thailand, third in Malaysia and Taiwan, and fourth in Indonesia and Morocco.
The show's contestants must supply everything themselves during the hot summer on the uninhabited island dubbed "inferno." Two participants who become a couple can go on a date in "paradise," or the most luxurious suite of the hotel. Unlike on the island, they can ask each other's ages and jobs at the suite.
Debuting on Dec. 18, the eight-episode series features the release of two installments per week over four weeks.
The cast includes beauty influencer Song Zia, former actor Choi Si-hun and dancer Cha Hyun-seung.
