The dance performance video for BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" has surpassed a billion views on YouTube.

The girl group is the first K-pop act with a dance performance video, not music video, to top 1 billion views.

BLACKPINK's management agency YG Entertainment on Feb. 8 said the video the day before achieved the milestone at 10:19 p.m., or a year and seven months after its release on July 6, 2020.

"The song's music video has 1.048 billion views on YouTube, a bit more than the dance performance one," the agency said. "This 'double-pronged popularity' featuring the music and dance performance videos having nearly the same number of views is unusual."

The message of "How You Like That" is to soar high and never give up in any situation.

Thirty-two videos on BLACKPINK's YouTube channel have each attracted 100 million views. The channel has 22.4 billion cumulative views with 72 million subscribers.
