The seventh Ulju Mountain Film Festival, slated to begin on April 1, on March 8 opened its online ticket reservations at 2 p.m.

Held in Ulju-gun County of the southern coastal city of Ulsan, the event is Korea's lone international festival dedicated to films about mountains.

To run from April 1-10 at the county's Yeongnam Alps Complex Welcome Center, the festival will feature 148 films on mountains from 42 countries and interactive programs about nature, the environment and climbing; one-day class; and camping at Jakcheonjeong Starlight Campsites.

The international competition category has 30 entries and that of the Asian competition 12.

The films will be screened over the festival period, and reservations for every program is available online through the festival's official website (www.umff.kr).
