The K-pop boy band Stray Kids has topped six Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200 album chart.
An announcement posted on Billboard's official social media account on March 28 said the group's EP "Oddinary" topped the Billboard 200 for April 2.
Stray Kids thus entered and topped the Billboard 200 four years after their debut to become just the third K-pop act to hit No. 1 on the chart after BTS and SuperM.
The Billboard 200 is ranked based on the volume of traditional album sales as well as that of online music downloads and streaming converted into album sales.
With its new EP and the title song "Maniac," the group topped five other Billboard charts: Artist 100, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, World Album and World Digital Song Sales.
Stray Kids will soon start their second world tour "Maniac," beginning with concerts from April 29 to May 1 at Jamsil Arena in Seoul's Songpa-gu District. The eight-member band from June will perform 16 times in Seoul and 9 cities abroad: Kobe and Tokyo in Japan and Newark, Chicago, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Oakland and Seattle in the U.S.
