BTS member Jimin's solo hit "Set Me Free Pt. 2" has topped the iTunes Top Songs charts of 110 countries. (Big Hit Music's official Facebook)

Jimin, a member of K-pop super group BTS, is seeing solo success on global music charts.


His management agency Big Hit Music on March 18 said "Set Me Free Pt. 2," a pre-release song from Jimin's forthcoming debut EP "Face," was No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts of 110 countries like the U.K., Canada, Italy and Finland as of 9 a.m. Korean Standard Time (KST) on the day after its release. 

Shortly after the debut, the hit's music video surged to the among the top on YouTube's Trending Videos charts in many countries, earning 27 million views as of 10 a.m. KST. 

"Set Me Free Pt. 2" is a hip-hop track describing the will to move forward freely and shake off inner feelings such as pain, sorrow and emptiness. 

All the songs from "Face" are set for release on March 24.
