The collaborative track "People Pt. 2" by Suga of BTS and IU has topped the iTunes Top Songs charts of 87 countries like the U.S., U.K. and Canada, Suga's management agency Big Hit Music said on April 8.
The song is a pre-release track from Suga's forthcoming solo album "D-day" released under his stage name Agust D and features K-pop singer IU.
"People Pt. 2" has dominated global charts since its release.
The hit's music video has also surged to among the upper echelons of YouTube's Trending Videos charts worldwide.
This is the second collaboration between both K-pop stars.
Shortly after they released their first collaborative song "Eight" on May 6, 2020, the track topped domestic music streaming sites.
Under his stage name Agust D, Suga's official debut album is due on April 21.
