Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo is now a promotional ambassador for Visit Korea Year 2023-24.

The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) on May 23 held a ceremony for Cha's appointment at its tourism promotion center HiKR Ground in Seoul's Jung-gu District.

As the new face of the tourism promotional campaign, he will promote Korea to the world along with the KTO by appearing in videos introducing the nation, tourism roadshows abroad and online campaigns.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and KTO are organizing Visit Korea Year 2023-24. Hotel Shilla President and CEO Lee Boo-jin heads the Visit Korea Committee, while first lady Kim Keon Hee, wife of President Yoon Suk Yeol, is an honorary chairperson.

KTO Vice President Lee Jae-Hwan said, "We look forward to a lot of activity so that the positive influence of promotional ambassador Cha Eun-woo leads to interest in visiting and tourism in Korea."
