The official YouTube channel of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK has broken the 90 million mark for YouTube subscribers.

The quartet's management agency YG Entertainment on July 17 said the channel's number of subscribers hit the milestone at 5:36 a.m. that day, making BLACKPINK the first musical act to do so.

In July 2020, the group became the first act performing in a language other than English to make the top five list of the most followed artists on YouTube and reached No. 1 in September 2021, surpassing Ariana Grande, Eminem, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber. In September last year, BLACKPINK's channel broke the YouTube subscriber record with 80 million.

Since the channel's official launch in June 2016, the group's videos have been viewed a combined 32.2 billion times.

Forty-three of BLACKPINK's videos have each had at least 100 million views including those for "Ddu-du Ddu-du," the first to reach two billion, "Kill This Love" 1.8 billion, "Boombayah" 1.6 billion, the dance performance video for "How You Like That" 1.4 billion and "As If It's Your Last" 1.3 billion.

Now on its "Born Pink" world tour, the group will perform for fans in Hanoi, Vietnam, from July 29-30 and those in the American cities of East Rutherford, New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
