Nearly 20 leading K-pop acts will headline the concert "K-pop Super Live" on the evening of Aug. 11 as the finale of the 25th World Scout Jamboree in Korea.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Jamboree's organizing committee on Aug. 10 announced a lineup of 19 performers including NewJeans, NCT DREAM, ITZY, MAMAMOO, THE BOYZ and IVE. The hosts will be actor Gong Myung, ITZY's Yuna and Hyein of NewJeans.

The concert is the final program of the Jamboree, which began on Aug. 1 and ends on the 12th. The event will be preceded by the closing ceremony from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Seoul World Cup Stadium in the Sangam-dong neighborhood of Seoul's Mapo-gu District, with the two-hour concert to begin at 7 p.m. there.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Bo Gyoon said, "These top-class artists will powerfully showcase the essence and appeal of Korean culture at the concert, where  some 40,000 youth scouts from around 150 countries will become one."

The year's sixth typhoon Khanun on the morning of Aug. 10 entered the Korean Peninsula, but the closing ceremony and concert will likely see no effect as the storm will have passed through before the start of both events.

Prime Minister Han Duck-soo on the morning of Aug. 10 held an emergency meeting on measures for the Jamboree at Government Complex-Seoul in the city's Jongno-gu District.

"Because this event is expected to attract the most scouts during the Jamboree period, we will do everything for safety management," he said. "We will carefully prepare to secure safety and security in all procedures like traveling between accommodations and the event venue, entering and leaving the stadium, and safety management during the concert's preparation and performances."
