BTS member Jungkook has received three nominations for this year's MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs), a record high for a Korean solo artist in the biggest honors of its kind on the Continent.

According to the nomination list released on Oct. 4, he was nominated for Best Song, Best K-Pop and Biggest Fans for his first official solo single "Seven," which dropped in July.


The global hit reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart and No. 3 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100.


Jungkook's group BTS won the Biggest Fans award for five straight years from 2018 through last year.


Meanwhile, the five-member boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aka TXT, also received the most nominations of any K-pop group this year with three: Best K-Pop, Best Push and Best Group.

SEVENTEEN and NewJeans are both nominated for Best K-Pop and Best Group, while FIFTY FIFTY and Stray Kids are also up for Best K-Pop. BLACKPINK is nominated for Biggest Fans and aespa for Best Group.

The awards ceremony is slated for Nov. 5 in Paris.
