Jungkook, a member of the K-pop boy band BTS, has won two MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).

MTV on Nov. 5 announced this year's honorees on its official website, with Jungkook earning Best K-pop and Best Song for his track "Seven," which was released in July.

For Best Song, he beat out global pop stars such as Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift to become the first K-pop soloist to win the award.

Jungkook was nominated last month for three MTV EMAs -- Best Song, Best K-pop and Biggest Fans -- a record high for a Korean solo artist. He is also the first Korean solo act to earn two MTV EMAs.

The boy band TOMORROW X TOGETHER, aka TXT, also won an MTV EMA for the second consecutive year.

Earning Best Asia Act last year, TXT was named this year's winner of Best Push, which goes to an artist giving the best performance among those selected by the "MTV Push" campaign.

This year's EMAs were initially scheduled for Nov. 5 in Paris but got canceled due to the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
