Surprise concerts at five subway stations in Seoul will mark the end of this year.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government on Dec. 27 said it will host Seoul My Soul Show on Dec. 30 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the stations of Gwanghwamun, Sadang, Wangsimni, Seolleung and Dongdaemun History & Culture Park.
Comprising Insooni, Park Mi-kyung, Shin Hyo-bum and Lee Eun-mee, the project girl group Golden Girls will perform as a group the song "One Last Time" as well as each of their members' solo tracks at Gwanghwamun Station exits 1 and 8, which is near the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
Ambiguous Dance Company, which specializes in fusion pop dance, will perform at exits 7 and 8 of Sadang and the four-member girl group H1-KEY at Wangsimni's exit 5.
Additionally, Hong 10, aka Kim Hong-yul, who won the silver medal in men's breaking at this year's Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, will stimulate the year-end atmosphere at Seolleung through a high-level performance with his b-boy crew.
YouTube sensation Go Toe-kyung, whose channel has 1.95 million subscribers, will hold a K-pop random play dance concert on the art stage of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station.
"Seoul My Soul Show is like a surprise gift that wraps up the year and communicates and empathizes with the people," said Choi Won-Seok, director general of the city's Public Relations Bureau. "We hope that everyone enjoys the variety of entertaining performances at a subway station near you as the end of the year draws near."
