BTS member Jungkook has set a K-pop solo mark with his album spending nine straight weeks on the Billboard 200 main albums chart.
The latest chart for Jan. 13 released by Billboard on Jan. 9 ranked his solo album "Golden" 28th for its ninth consecutive week on the chart.
"Golden" on Nov. 12 last year debuted at No. 2 on the chart and now has the longest stay there by a K-pop solo artist.
The title track "Standing Next to You" also remained for the ninth straight week on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, ranking 70th.
Over the same period, "Get Up," the second EP of girl group NewJeans, finished 110th on the Billboard 200 for its 24th straight week on the chart.
Entering the chart at No. 1 on Aug. 5 last year, the EP holds the mark for longest charting album by a fourth-generation K-pop group.
The title track "Super Shy" ranked 87th on the Billboard Global 200 for its 26th straight week on the chart.
