The Literature Translation Institute of Korea from June 12-15 will host in Paris the event "Invitation to Korean Literature" on the occasion of the upcoming Paris Summer Olympics.

Four notable writers -- Lee Seung-U, Pyun Hye Young, Jin Eun-Young and Ma Yeong-shin -- on June 12 will attend the opening ceremony at the bookstore Le Divan, where they will discuss Korean literature with French readers.

Afterwards, each writer will hold an individual Q&A from June 13-15 at the bookstore Le Phenix.

On June 14, Ma will hold a book signing event at the comic book store BDnet Nation. His graphic novel "Moms" was a finalist for this year's Emile Guimet Prize for Asian Literature of France.

A Korean book exhibition from June 5 to Aug. 30 at the Korean Cultural Center in Paris will display original works by 26 writers and 67 books translated into French.

More information on the event's schedule and panels are available in English and French on KLWAVE (https://klwave.or.kr/klw/klContents/56/eventView.do), a platform promoting the global advance of Korean literature. Reservations for each event can be made on the relevant bookstore's website.
